Job Description – HR & Immigration Specialist
Location: Qatar
Department: PRO Services
Role Summary
The HR & Immigration Specialist is responsible for handling HR operations and managing all immigration and visa-related processes for employees in Qatar. This includes onboarding documentation work permits residency visas renewals cancellations and ensuring compliance with Qatar Labor Laws QFC and mainland regulations. The role requires strong coordination communication skills and experience working with Qatar’s government portals.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations
Manage onboarding and documentation for new joiners.
Maintain accurate employee files as per Qatar labour requirements.
Coordinate HR processes with internal teams and leadership.
2. Immigration & Visa Management
Handle work permits residency visas renewals transfers and cancellations.
Manage QFC and mainland visa procedures.
Work with government portals such as MOI Hukoomi ADLSA and QFC.
Ensure timely and smooth processing of all immigration activities.

4. Stakeholder Management
5. Advisory & Support
Act as the subject matter expert for HR and immigration in Qatar.
Advise clients and internal teams on compliance requirements.
Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Deep knowledge of Qatar Labour Laws QFC Free Zone and immigration procedures.
Proficiency with MOI Hukoomi ADLSA and QFC portals.
Detail-oriented and process-driven.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in HR operations and immigration processes in Qatar.
Experience with QFC Free Zones and mainland procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in HR Business Administration or related field (preferred).
Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
