Job Summary
Forecast Coffee is hiring! We are looking for wonderful staff to join our team in our cafe in Function Junction Whistler. Serving coffee with an extended food menu we are looking for talented Baristas and skilled all-rounders to join the team.
Forecast Coffee exists to create space to feed the soul igniting our collective passion for each other our community and the outdoors.
You perform in your role with passion and take upmost care as a representative of our brand and product and are motivated to consistently deliver the excellent customer service expected. Whilst providing a positive and inclusive environment for customers and staff our staff are accountable for providing quality service and product in a safe and clean environment.
Our company core values should guide all decision making and communication in the pursuit of delivering best customer experience employee experience and anticipating what is best for the store.
The ideal candidate:
- loves great coffee and has previous barista experience (kitchen experience is also an asset)
-is willing to work in all positions in the cafe- we cross train in kitchen and pos so everyone can do all roles
- has flexible availability - mornings & evenings (Cafe hours 7am-7pm)
- enjoys working in a fast-paced environment & getting to know your customers
- is a team player and wants to build connections within our community
The positions:
- include barista counter-service & food preparation
- include staff meal for full shifts
- Food Safe an asset
Starting wage $18.30/hr plus tips paid out weekly
