Inviting applications for the role of Principle Consultant - Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer
The Senior IAM Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and managing enterprise-wide identity and access management solutions. With experience this role requires deep expertise in authentication protocols IAM platforms and security frameworks. The engineer will ensure secure scalable and compliant access to systems and data across the organization while mentoring junior staff and driving IAM strategy.

Responsibilities
IAM Architecture & Design:
oDevelop and maintain IAM solutions aligned with enterprise security strategy.
oDesign workflows for user provisioning de-provisioning and role-based access control (RBAC).
Implementation & Integration:
oIntegrate IAM platforms (e.g. Okta Auth0 ForgeRock Ping Identity Azure AD/Entra ID) with enterprise applications.
oImplement authentication protocols (OAuth2 OpenID Connect SAML Kerberos LDAP).
oConfigure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Security & Compliance:
oEnsure IAM systems comply with regulatory standards (GDPR HIPAA SOX ISO 27001).
oConduct audits access reviews and enforce least privilege principles.
oCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust models.
Automation & Operations:
oAutomate IAM processes using scripting (PowerShell Bash Python).
oManage IAM infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform Ansible).
oMonitor troubleshoot and optimize IAM services for high availability.
Leadership & Mentorship:
oProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
oAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for IAM across the organization.
Partner with business stakeholders to align IAM solutions with organizational needs
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
IAM engineering with proven expertise in enterprise-scale implementations.
Hands-on experience with leading IAM platforms (Okta Auth0 Azure AD/Entra ID Ping Identity ForgeRock).
Strong knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth2 OIDC SAML Kerberos LDAP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python PowerShell Bash).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid IAM deployments.
Experience with API security cryptography and PKI

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Experience implementing Zero Trust security frameworks.
Background in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline integration with IAM.
Certifications such as CISSP CISM or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator.
