THE ROLE
AstheManagerDutyOptimizationTrade & Customsyou will:
Leadandmanage global duty spend & cost reduction portfolio across all Aritzia trade channels
Perform large data analysiswith respect to duty savings andother financialoutlays
Lead and manage duty drawback programs First SaleforExportRefunds/PSCsand other recovery/reduction requirements.
Interpretrules of originapplicable for Free Trade Agreementeligibility
InterpretHS/HTS codingfor optimization
Monitor and interpretglobal government recovery programs regulations and changes in customs policies
THE QUALIFICATIONS
TheManagerDuty OptimizationTrade & Customshas:
Proven skillscertifications education and/or experience in:
Experience in Trade and Customs Environment
Ability to work independently with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data
CAN CCS (US CCS an asset)
Microsoft Office including advanced Excel BI Reporting Bit Query or other analysis tools
A commitment to learn and apply Aritzias Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value and drive the business
THECOMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is$100000 - $150000 CADperyear. The final agreed uponsalarymay vary based on factors such as job-related knowledgeskillsand experience.
