Job Description
This position is a key member of the Water Production Team within the Facilities Operations Division. The position is responsible for providing engineering and technical support to the facility.

Essential Duties
  • Perform and coordinate design reviews incorporate Operations/ Maintenance/OTS comments and edits.
  • Coordinate with plant staff and contractors on performance testing of new equipment and systems.
  • Monitor analyze and optimize water treatment processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Support commissioning troubleshooting and upgrades of treatment systems and equipment.
  • Conduct data analysis on flow rates chemical dosing and water quality parameters to identify trends and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects plant expansions and technology upgrades.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to plant operators and maintenance staff.

Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval.
Grade
The grade for this position is 107.

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in engineering and
  • Six years of progressively responsible engineering experience some of which should be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Valid Drivers License from state of residency.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License. - Must be attached to be considered.
