You will lead and mentor a team of managers with employees performing a variety of quality functions.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
Data analytical skills with Tableau or other business intelligence software
Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives customers stakeholders peers and business partners
3 years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
3 years of management experience with Quality or Operations or leading managers / teams in Operations and/or Quality position
3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)
1 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Willing to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime (primarily 3rd shift)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in Material Review Board processes
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Experience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS)
Proven ability to manage develop and motivate employees
Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner
Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures
Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive Relationships
Demonstrated skills in team building systematic problem solving and ethical leadership
