Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the execution of strategies and programs to grow NETSCOUTs business while winning maintaining and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners. The Channel Account Manager represents the entire range of Service Assurance and Cybersecurity products and services to assigned partners and is responsible for achieving sales profitability and partner recruitment objectives. This position reports to the Director of Channel Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities with channels
  • Weekly meeting for pipeline review with account managers of the partners.
  • Visit end users with partners for opportunities review.
  • Set up new channel partners and oversee the on-boarding process.
  • Implement channel marketing plans set out by the channel marketing team.
  • Works closely with sales teams within the channel partner to train and advise.
  • Report monthly on sales KPIs within channel partners.
  • Work to achieve sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales Director.
  • Help to create relationships between the NETSCOUT field sales organization and the distribution reps.
  • Give feedback to the marketing team on the success of sales promotions.
  • Address customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
  • Identify and reach out to new potential channel partners.

Basic Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of previous experience of driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channel.
  • 3 years of previous experience selling thought channels.
  • Direct sales quota.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
  • Strong personal network within the industry.
  • Driven highly motivated and passionate about sales.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Professional sales training would be an advantage but not essential.
