THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a life sciences company in this role the Legal Counsel will oversee a variety of international commercial agreements and provide strategic legal guidance across the companys business units. Fluency in both English and German is essential for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft review and negotiate a broad range of international commercial contracts including but not limited to development supply distribution licensing and collaboration agreements.
- Develop and maintain contract templates internal policies and legal guidelines.
- Ensure the companys compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal corporate policies.
- Deliver legal training sessions to internal stakeholders to promote legal awareness and best practices across the organization.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelors and Masters degrees in law; bar admission is an advantage.
- 25 years of relevant post-graduate legal experience ideally in a multinational in-house legal department or a reputable commercial law firm.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex international commercial contracts particularly in English.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
- Experience in the life sciences sector is a plus but not mandatory.
