Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Travel Pay: Up to $2521/week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Emergency Departmentfor an exciting job in Neptune NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely compassionate nursing care during pediatric emergencies.
Rapidly assess triage and prioritize patients by acuity and clinical status.
Manage pediatric trauma acute illnesses and complex medical cases.
Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Perform accurate clinical interventions aligned with pediatric ED standards.
Develop individualized care plans and maintain detailed documentation.
Educate and support patients and families.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality-of-care standards.
Float to related units as needed (PICU NICU Triage Telemetry).

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 18 months Pediatric ED experience.
Recent pediatric ED experience within the last 6 months.
Strong pediatric emergency assessment and clinical skills.
Excellent communication teamwork and critical-thinking abilities.

Education

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

Active RN License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NIHSS
Telemetry Certification
Completion of 4-hour Stroke CEU

Preferred:

NRP (AHA)
ENPC
