Vast is looking for a Materials Coordinator reporting to the Manager Test Site Operations to support the development of the inspection systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
This will be a full-time non-exempt position located in our Mojave location.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Fulfill material requests within a timely manner according to department SLA.
- Safeguard inventory by strict adherence to processes procedures and guidance to maintain inventory accuracy of 95%.
- Record material issuance and return to stock (RTS).
- Effectively communicate discrepancies damages and concerns.
- Receipt of inbound materials and confirm packing slip accuracy.
- Transact material into inventory.
- Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift.
- Safely operate forklift pallet jack hand truck and other warehousing equipment and tools.
- Complete all annual training before deadlines.
- Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed to achieve company goals.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of inventory experience.
- 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends when required to achieve company goals.
Pay Range:
- Material Handler I: $19.63 - $23.99
- Materials Handler II: $ $23.23 - $28.42
Salary Range: California
$19.63 - $28.42 USD
