About the role
The Koala Strategy team (Threatened Species and Ecosystems Branch) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a Project Officer Regional Support this role you will support coordination and delivery of koala habitat restoration projects and other conservation actions under the NSW Koala Strategy. This is an exciting time to join the Koala Program with the role moving to the new Landscape and Statewide Species Management team in January and the opportunity to help deliver key state-wide conservation initiatives for the koala and other landscape species and ecosystems.

About You
You will bring experience in project management be proficient with technology and managing large datasets and have strong organisational skills that enable you to assist senior officers in planning coordinating and delivering multiple projects. You are a proactive and collaborative professional who works effectively under the guidance of supervisors seeking input and referring complex issues to specialist staff as required. You have the ability to review regional or branch issues and provide practical innovative recommendations aligned with DCCEEW policies and addition you will have experience in working on biodiversity conservation projects to support the delivery of tangible environmental outcomes.
