Location:Aldie VA
Start:8:50 AM End:3:40 PM
Payrate:$38$40/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nursefor an exciting Travel or Local job in Aldie VA.

Student Care Requirements (1:1 Case):
You will provide dedicated care to a high-school female student with complex medical needs including:

Seizure monitoring administration of seizure rescue medication and providing seizure first aid
Non-verbal communication
Two-person lifts for mobility
Wheelchair-dependent care
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and oral feeding
Managing choking risks due to food pocketing
No bus transportation support required

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care under RN or physician supervision
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document vital signs symptoms and progress
Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) and mobility
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Support RNs and physicians during assessments and procedures
Respond promptly to emergencies within LPN scope of practice
Participate in patient care planning to improve outcomes

Education & Certifications:

Active LPN license in Virginia (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
Additional certifications preferred but not required
