The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking (1) to hire an experiencedSponsor Funded Administrative Research Coordinator I to provide support tothe Psychology Department.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for overseeing a grant-funded project in the Cognition and Aging Lab here at GSU. This role will manage the routine daily functioning of the project.

The essential duties and responsibilities are the following:

  • Oversee research project including progress toward study milestones payment tracking maintenance of IRB protocols and general study management.
  • Coordinate participant recruitment activities including community engagement opportunities and flier distribution.
  • Schedule participants and manage retention activities (e.g. calls and email reminders).
  • Perform pre-screening data collection data entry data analysis and database management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in the assigned research area or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

  • Major in Psychology Gerontology or a related field.
