Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst - IM R&D Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA). This position can be located in Spring House PA; Raritan NJ; or Titusville NJ.

  • The senior financial analyst will provide strategic financial support and leadership to the IM R&Ds Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) $200MM Opex budget and provide support for capital projects
  • Lead and generate analytics in support of value driving business cases; aimed to secure resources (investment and headcount) associated with long term strategic initiatives for respective functions
  • Lead financial forecasting discussions along with appropriately managing risks and opportunities to forecast.
  • Lead latest thinking and quarter close cycles. Responsible for coordination reporting and analytical support of actual vs. forecast for functional expense and headcount.
  • Drive ad hoc analytics and projects aimed at driving efficiency and appropriate investment decisions.
  • Support for high visibility strategic projects including GRA Digital Transformation and Unified Regulatory Platform.
  • Perform budget vs actual analysis and explain variances to senior leadership including Finance Director and supporting functional leadership teams.
  • Lead & participate in ad hoc (strategic) projects process improvement initiatives and special requests.
  • Drive process efficiencies and develop metrics to measure these efficiencies
  • This role will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager IMR&D Global Functions

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree is required preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • MBA CPA CMA or other financial certifications is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years finance or related business experience is required.
  • Possess excellent analytical (MS Excel) conceptual communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries is preferred.
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
  • Must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
  • This position can be located in Spring House PA; Raritan NJ; or Titusville NJ with travel to other NJ/PA Janssen R&D offices when required. This position may require up to 10% of domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$77000- $124200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical dental vision life insurance short- and long-term disability business accident insurance and group legal insurance.
