TheWorkforce Development Managerwillfacilitateemployment-related programs and services for people with disabilities. The Workforce Development Manager will work with the Employment Advisors to maximize the employment outcomes for people served through employment customizationinnovationand a focus onpersonalemployment outcomes. The Workforce Development Manager will be a member of the Leadership Council. This position must meet all the qualifications of a Direct Support Professional and complete alltrainings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidatebrings experiencefacilitatingemployment programs and services for people with disabilities with the ability to manage and coach Direct Support Professionals effectively. They mustdemonstratestrong communication organizational and interpersonal skills the ability to work collaboratively across teams and the capacity to exercise initiative and think creatively to improve processes. The ideal candidate must also be able to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment andmaintaina focus on achieving measurable employment outcomes.
This position requiresfiveyears ofworking and supporting people with disabilities with at least twoyears offacilitatingservices for people based in the community. A high school diploma isrequired; a bachelors degree is strongly preferred. Candidates must have a valid Maryland Drivers License with no major violations.
