ABOUT THIS JOB
The role will be data-driven and analytical support for global and local clients from FMCG and Tech & Durables industries. A Junior Insight Analyst will be in support of one or several clients working with internal stakeholders from client-facing NIQ teams operating as part of a broader international community working towards a common goal of supporting the clients in achieving their strategic business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting internal NIQ stakeholders (Consultants Account Development local Insights Teams etc.) in their day-to-day work with the client by:
- Assisting in execution of projects by extracting compiling analyzing and interpreting sales and consumer data visualizing it building presentations.
- Summarizing data in tables charts and graphs reviewing deliverables for errors and inconsistencies.
- Drafting reports and presentations with data interpretation (varying levels of complexity)
- Sharing and actively searching for best practice examples opportunities for optimization and automation and implementing the approach in their own work whenever possible.
- Supporting other team members in preparation for client meetings and presentations.

You are good at identifying trends and patterns that build a bigger picture you find satisfaction in understanding the reasons behind processes and events. You like working with numbers and finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient. Managing time and deadlines comes naturally to you. You want to understand how your work impacts your team and your clients and you are eager to take ownership of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Student or graduate (Bachelor/Master) of Marketing Business Economics Mathematics Statistics or related field
- Strong numerical analytical and written presentation skills
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables vlookup conditional functions conditional formatting chart building and formatting) and PowerPoint
- Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1 level)
- Fluency in French German Spanish or Italian is an asset (at least B2 level)
- Results-oriented personality and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural setting
- An aptitude & desire to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders while being open to a client-facing role in future
- Good time- and workload management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment
- Interest in the FMCG and/or T&D industry
