- Design build and optimize robust reusable and scalable data pipelines and transformations (using dbt SQL and cloud data warehouse technologies).
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data ingestion and with analysts to enable self-service analytics.
- Develop and maintain well-documented data models definitions and metadata to ensure data consistency and transparency.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into high-quality analytical datasets.
- Implement and maintain data quality checks testing frameworks and monitoring processes.
- Support performance optimization across ETL/ELT processes and query execution.
- Drive best practices in data governance version control and documentation within the analytics engineering team.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows and standards.
Qualifications :
Must-Have:
- 7 years of experience in data engineering analytics engineering or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with data transformation tools (e.g. dbt).
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Databricks). Big Query preferred.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g. Kimball Data Vault or modern ELT architectures).
- Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD practices in data environments (e.g. Git-based workflows testing frameworks).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker Tableau Power BI Mode).
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow Dagster Prefect).
- Understanding of data privacy compliance and security principles.
- Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
