Position: Framework Manager Nuclear & Defence
Are you ready to take on cutting-edge challenges in the world of Nuclear and Defence engineering Assystem is calling driven professionals to be at the forefront of innovation working on groundbreaking frameworks that shape the future of national security and energy.
As a Framework Manager youll be the key liaison for framework activities on our clients site ensuring seamless collaboration strategic alignment and operational excellence across multi-million-pound projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight & Relationship Building
- Act as the primary point of contact for all framework-related queries
- Foster strong relationships with the client and collaborate closely with the Key Account Manager
- Build and maintain stakeholder maps and zipper plans
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with bid and project governance frameworks
- Manage and update the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and key KPIs
- Oversee full framework lifecycle: award execution performance renewal/termination
Operational Support
- Support day-to-day operations across projects and bids
- Help align project delivery with up-to-date client intelligence and strategy
- Work with operations to deliver a framework plan that maximises value for Assystem
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks develop mitigation strategies
- Support in resolving disputes and enforcing contractual rights
Framework Improvement & Innovation
- Contribute to the development of contract management tools and templates
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Deep understanding of Nuclear Submarine operations
Proven experience in framework or large-scale contract management
Excellent stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship skills
Strong analytical reporting and problem-solving abilities
Able to manage multiple priorities with autonomy and confidence
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
