We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of affluent debit and credit card propositions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen technical expertise and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development:
o Define scope and own the roadmap for affluent debit and credit card propositions articulating desirability viability and feasibility of recommendations and proposed solutions
o Identify market trends customer needs and segments and competitive insights to shape product strategy
o Closely partner with Benefits Centre of Excellence and Benefits Platform teams to drive proposition development & delivery
o Produce various assets from product positioning to product sheets presentations etc.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:
o Lead end-to-end GTM planning and execution for new product launches and with marketing sales and operations to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
o Drive market activation sessions and enable local teams to sell affluent propositions.
o Support local teams on high-impact RfPs or priority client engagements with expertise
Commercial Management:
o Drive P&L accountability for the product portfolio
o Model business cases and drive product analytics
o Develop pricing strategies revenue models and performance metrics to maximize profitability.
o Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate billing is in place
Technical & Operational Excellence:
o Work closely with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of solutions across European markets
o Translate business requirements into technical specifications and oversee implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
o Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions.
o Support project management to ensure productive partnerships with effective sessions and timely progress
o Influence senior leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations.
Qualifications :
- Graduate degree or higher qualification
- Experience in product management within financial services or payments ideally in banking
- Strong commercial background with proven track record in developing business cases and driving revenue growth.
- Experience leveraging data to inform decisions and well versed in market research and business analytics
- Hands-on GTM experience and expertise in launching complex products.
- Solid technical understanding of payment systems card platforms and digital solutions.
- Management consulting experience is highly desirable
- Exceptional execution focus with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work independently under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills with solution-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of affluent customer segments and premium product design with experience in managing premium portfolios
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in payments.
- Experience working in cross-functional global teams.
