We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Wireless Technician to join our team in Milpitas CA. In this role you will support the installation maintenance and repair of wireless communication systems across the Southern California region. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cell site buildouts antenna system integration and troubleshooting RF and backhaul issues. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our wireless infrastructure.

The Role

  • Install maintain and upgrade wireless network equipment including antennas radios coax fiber and supporting hardware
  • Conduct tower climbing and work at heights to install or service cell site components
  • Perform site surveys testing commissioning and troubleshooting of wireless systems
  • Terminate and test fiber and coaxial cables
  • Interpret RF diagrams site drawings and construction documents
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures industry standards and local regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for each project or service call
  • Operate company-provided tools vehicles and equipment responsibly
  • Collaborate with field supervisors project managers and other crew members to meet project deadlines
Requirements
  • 13 years of experience in wireless construction or telecommunications fieldwork (tower work DAS small cells LTE/5G installs etc.)
  • Understanding of RF principles microwave systems and IP networking basics is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints construction drawings and RF schematics
  • Proficient with basic hand tools power tools and test equipment (PIM/Sweep testing fiber testers etc.)
  • OSHA 10/30 RF Awareness and Climbing Certification strongly preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Experience working with major carriers (AT&T Verizon T-Mobile Dish etc.) a plus
  • Familiarity with Ericsson Nokia or Samsung equipment a plus
  • Experience with C-RAN small cell deployments or fiber backhaul preferred
  • Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves driving
  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR Background Check Drug Screen)
