• Salary: 28.19 - 30.94 AUD base per hour.

About The Role:

• This is a fantastic opportunity for second or third year university nursing student looking for a development opportunity within the Hospital Clinical setting. The Mater Day surgery and Endoscopy is currently expanding and the successful candidate will play a significant role in this growth.
• Patient centred clinical practice in accordance with recognised standards.
• Ensure safety of patients and staff by designing effective and efficient systems and processes of care.

About You:.

• 2nd or 3rd year nursing student or TAFE Certificate III in acute care.
• A commitment to the Philosophy Mission Values and Ethics and Code of Conduct of St Vincents Health Australia
• Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care
• Commitment to continued professional development
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Experience working within an acute health care clinical setting.
• Time management skills.
• High-level computer literacy
• Ability to work well under supervision of RN and EENs

About The Mater:

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital North Sydney.

• One of Sydneys premier private hospitals.
• Close by to train stations at North Sydney St Leonards and Crows Nest and buses on Pacific Highway.
• The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
• Core specialties include Obstetrics Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements bone and sports injuries cardiology cancer care and surgery lung and vascular medicine ear nose and throat surgery urology endocrine surgery and neurosurgery.
