ROLE PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Manager provides strategic and technical Supply Chain leadership and support assigned area offices and country offices. The Supply Chain Manager acts as support for filling gaps in field office/country office Supply Chain: Asset Management Fleet Management Inventory Management Supply Chain projects roll out Supply Chain HR management and data management.
This role should be performed in regular coordination with assigned filed offices to ensure high quality Supply Chain technical and management support linking with all relevant area offices and country office.
This role is embedded within assigned COs Supply Chain teams ensuring that each staff within supply chain function can contact him/her to raise issues or obtain ad hoc support. The position holder plays an important role in achieving Save the Children International Ukraine Country Office Supply Chain Strategic Objectives.
This role is a focal point for cooperation with the SCIs Partners as a part of Localization strategy.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Assets Management: Develop asset replacement strategies oversee asset tracking systems and ensure compliance with standards. Provide guidance on asset disposal exercises.
- Warehouse and Inventory Management: Monitor inventory systems provide support for inventory-related issues and conduct audits to identify improvements.
- Fleet Management: Develop fleet replacement strategies ensure compliance with standards and liaise with security counterparts to maintain safety standards strategical overview for Fleet Service Charge reports submission.
- Supply Chain Human Resources Management: Support recruitment processes facilitate capacity building activities and manage talent development within the supply chain team.
- Supply Chain Projects Management: Support proposal development ensure alignment of strategic plans with proposals and include supply chain costs in project budgets. Assist the Head of Supply Chain on implementation of global supply chain transformation project
- Supply Chain Lead: Fill critical gaps in country offices conduct regular visits to assigned offices and provide support during emergency responses.
- Support on Data Internal Process Support and Change Management: Assist with data management provide feedback on processes and coordinate with key counterparts for procurement and data.
- Partnership Supply Chain Manager: Practical support for SCI Partners to ensure compliance with all policies procedures and standards. Main focal point for Supply Chain Partnership

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Bachelors in Procurement Logistics General Management or related area Masters degree an advantage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in all technical areas of logistics operations including procurement transport/distribution. Warehousing and stock management fleet management asset management
- Ability to synthesize and analyze information and make clear informed decisions; experience inmanaging high levels of data and analyzing analytics.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide range of people both internally and externallyStrong planning management and coordination skills with the ability to organize a substantialworkload comprised of complex diverse tasks and responsibilities
- Experience in developing the capacity of procurement and supply chain staff using training performance management frameworks and development plans.
- Experience in development and implementation of efficient logistics systems policies andprocedures.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian
- Excellent in office pack/SharePoint is advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel in Ukraine
- Resilient to stress and able to keep him/herself motivated also during challenging situations
- Experienced in remotely managing or supporting senior management roles is a must.
- Able to prioritize and work with limited supervision self-motivated resilient to stress
Experience(Required)
- Experience in managerial positions over 5 years with a minimum of 2 years working (Procurement and Supply Chain) experience with I/NGO/Development/Humanitarian Organizations
- Experience in field support is required with a possibility to travel with at list 30% of working time outside the base office
Experience(Desirable)
- Experience of working in Ukraine context is a must
- Certification/Diploma Experience working within complex/large scale country programs and in emergency response/humanitarian Humanitarian Logistics/Procurement/Supply Chain
- Formal management training
- Experience in partner management/support and proven record of building capacity and capability.
