Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Staff Engineer Software Test in Bengaluru and collaborate with skilled professionals ensuring top-tier software quality!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and put into action test strategies frameworks and methodologies to enhance software quality and efficiency.
Build develop and maintain robust scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
Champion Development Techniques that emphasize testing for enhanced software quality.
Collaborate with development DevOps and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct API UI mobile and database testing to ensure end-to-end quality.
Establish test metrics and benchmarks to measure software quality and process efficiency.
Guide and mentor test engineers on automation guidelines and advanced testing techniques.
Evaluate and implement new testing technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
Ensure scalability performance and security testing strategies align with business needs.
Review and provide recommendations for improving test case coverage and defect prevention.
Contribute to shift-left testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or equivalent experience in computer science Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 10 years in software testing with at least 3 years in a QA architect role.
Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Playwright Selenium Cypress Appium etc.).
Expertise in scripting/programming languages such as Python Java JavaScript or C#.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions etc.).
Deep understanding of API testing tools (Postman REST Assured SoapUI).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter Gatling LoadRunner).
Experience with mobile testing using Appium Espresso or XCUITest.
Experience with cloud-based and containerized environments (AWS Docker Kubernetes).
Proficiency in database testing using SQL queries.
Strong understanding of Agile DevOps and shift-left testing methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in testing techniques using AI/ML. (preferred)
Familiarity with security testing tools and guidelines. (preferred)
