Activision Central Techis lookingfor talented and innovative students to join our team for thesummer and fall of 2026. The teamprovides software tools andbuildinfrastructure technologies for several Activision studios like Sledgehammer Games Treyarch and Infinity Ward for hit AAA franchises like Call of Duty.The Vancouver studio is part of a broader team headed up from Los Angeles and is housed withinDemonware. • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education or graduate program

• Graduating December 2026 July 2027

• Available toparticipatein a 7-month co-op starting mid-May

Co-op Opportunities

All co-ops will be conductedin-person 3 days a week at our Vancouver office.Co-ops living150km away from the office location will have theoptionto opt into relocation services and receive a living stipend to supsidizecosts.

Cloud Engineering Co-Op:

As aCloud Engineering Co-opyoullgain hands-on experience implementing cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure identity and authentication systems developer tools and observability frameworks.Youllhelp design and build tools and automations that run on distributed systemsidentifyingopportunities to streamline manual workflows through automation. Your work will include performing root cause analyses and proposing engineering solutions to prevent or mitigate recurring incidents.Youllalsoparticipatein design and code reviews contributing to the development of scalable high-performance systems that support our engineering teams

Requirements

• Desire to learn about Infrastructure

• Debugging and analytical skills

• Able to communicate technical concepts

• Basic Linux command-line familiarity

• Familiarity with scripting

• Familiarity with source control (git preferred)

• Familiarity with container technologies (Dockercontainerdetc)

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of networking technologies (e.g. TCP UDP DNS)

• Experience diving into code to understand howitssupposed to work -- and why itdoesnt

• Experience with CI/CDpipelines(GithubActionsCircleCIGitlab CI/CD etc.

• Experience with Observability tools (Elasticsearch Grafana Splunk etc.)

• Experience with identity and secrets management

• Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes OpenShift Nomadetc)

The standard base pay range for this role is 65000 CAD annually. This value is the expected annualized base pay of interns in British Columbia Canada.Ultimately youroffer will be based on several factors including relevant education performance and work location.
