Job Summary
Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Master Data Management (MDM/MDG) solution within a global manufacturing organization. This strategic initiative aims to ensure data quality integrity and governance for critical data objects (e.g. Material Master Product Information) in a complex ecosystem. The Project Manager will oversee planning coordination and execution ensuring delivery within scope budget and timeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for MDM/MDG solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations.
- Define scope milestones and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices.
- Manage risks issues and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates stakeholder communications and executive-level reporting.
- Align timelines and resources with other concurrent projects.
Oversee data governance processes data quality initiatives and integration with SAP S/4 and other systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- 8 years of project management experience in ERP or SAP environments focused on data initiatives.
- 5 years experience with Master Data Solution projects (e.g. SAP MDG).
- Strong knowledge of MDM/MDG solutions and data governance frameworks.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA ECC (preferred).
- Experience in large-scale SAP implementations in the manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of data governance data modeling and data quality principles
