We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Setup and Operation Technician to join our this role you will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining CNC milling machines ensuring the efficient and accurate production of precision components. You will work with technical drawings and blueprints to manufacture parts to exact specifications monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Machine Setup and Operation: Set up CNC milling machines including selecting and installing tools fixtures and machine settings based on job specifications. Operate CNC mills to produce precision components.
Program Input and Optimization: Input programs into CNC machines load programs into controllers and adjust settings to optimize performance and ensure high-quality output.
Quality Control: Perform routine measurements and inspections using precision instruments such as calipers micrometers and height gauges. Ensure parts meet specified tolerances and make adjustments as needed.
Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic machine maintenance including cleaning lubrication and tool changes. Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and work with maintenance staff for more complex issues.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to company and regulatory safety protocols.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records machine setups and maintenance logs. Report any machine downtime or quality issues promptly to supervisors.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency reduce waste and improve quality. Stay updated on the latest CNC technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience: 1-2 years of CNC milling experience required.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and machining specifications. Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers micrometers height gauges) is required.
Machine Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC machine setup operation and troubleshooting.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control ensuring parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve machine or production issues effectively.
Safety-Conscious: Committed to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Background Check: A drug test and background check are required.

Additional Information:

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with overtime as needed
