A Maintenance Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitudebehaviours skills and values that follow:

Certification or Degree in Engineering Facilities Management or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.

Proven experience in engineering or maintenance management with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role preferably in the hospitality industry.

Possess knowledge of the requirements of government regulations and technical rules.

Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Familiarity with local building codes safety regulations and energy management practices.

As a Maintenance Manager you will oversee the hotels engineering operations ensuring all facilities and systems function efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance schedules leading the engineering team and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

This role requires strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive operational excellence and enhance guest and team member experiences. You will collaborate with other departments to maintain a well-functioning energy-efficient and safe environment.

What will I be doing

As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Operational Leadership

Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department ensuring all systems and equipment are well-maintained.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.

Team Management & Development

Lead mentor and manage the engineering team fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Facility Maintenance

Ensure the hotels mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local safety regulations building codes and hotel policies.

Implement and monitor safety protocols to protect guests team member and assets.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Manage the engineering departments budget tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Energy Management

Monitor and optimize energy consumption to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs.

Implement energy-saving initiatives and support the hotels environmental goals.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with other departments to address maintenance needs and coordinate special projects.

Emergency Response

Develop and implement emergency protocols for engineering-related incidents.
