12 month Fixed Term Contract 35 hours per week Monday Friday 9am to 5pm.

About the role
Your expertise can influence change that matters. As a Policy Advisor youll play a pivotal role in shaping the policies that drive our mission and ensure were ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
What youll do
- Research develop and review policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Write clear evidence-based policy briefings that inform decision-making at every level.
- Monitor sector trends regulations and legislation - raising key issues at the right time.
- Coordinate consultation responses working collaboratively with subject matter experts and colleagues.
- Manage the policy framework and ensure governance processes are followed.
- Influence positively across the organisation and externally building strong relationships.

Salary
The spot salary for the Policy Advisor post is 44189per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants who do not meet all the requirements of the post will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
- Proven experience in policy development research and analysis preferably within the housing sector.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation regulations and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear actionable policies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.
Policy Advisor Interviews

A call with the hiring manager. Youll learn more about the role and team and well get to know you your experience goals and what you bring.
Planned date: 17th December via Teams.
Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths
A role related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. Youll be asked to complete a Congruity Questionnaire in advance.
Planned date: 22nd December at our Bradford office.
