Are you looking for a rewarding job Join our team as a Manufacturing Lab Tech on the HF Comm & Tacair Team in Cedar Rapids IA where youll apply engineering concepts and analysis tools to drive transformative changes in manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on improving test station quality reducing station down time and optimizing production equipment contributing directly to our teams efficiency and competitiveness.

This role offers a blend of independent initiative and teamwork collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers production personnel management and support organizations. Located onsite in Cedar Rapids IA youll play a crucial role in shaping our operational excellence and innovation. What You Will Do

• You will provide technical interpretations of drawings and specifications and analyze and aid test techs with troubleshooting

• You will own and maintain test stations. Helping to resolve test station issues daily

• You will develop implement and maintain test station calibration while collaborating with test equipment services

• You will eliminate/reduce test defects and improve test yields for routine issues of various levels of scope

• You will perform room cause analysis and take corrective action to resolve test failures

What You Will Learn

• You will learn how to be a manufacturing electrical engineer supporting varioushigh-frequency communication radios & circuit board manufacturing processes

• Engineering tools used in the build & test of HF and Tacair radios. (SAP Engineering drawings change control board Solidworks AutoCAD eView PDM etc.)

• You will gain experience with standard work tools and processes. They will execute CORE certification

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6
  years of relevant experience

• Electronics technical 2 year degree

The salary range for this role is 50000 USD - 100000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
