Quality Inspector - Manufacturing Assembly

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify incoming materials and components against specifications and purchase orders
- Document inspection results and report non-conforming materials to relevant departments
- Conduct inspections at various stages of the assembly process to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies in the assembly line and collaborate with production teams for corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate findings to supervisors and production staff
- Perform final inspections of finished products before shipment to verify adherence to quality and safety standards
- Review and approve inspection documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Ensure all measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Accurately document all inspection activities mon-conformnces and corrective actions in quality management systems
- Assist in preparing quality control reports
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to refine inspection processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality inspection or a related field is preferred
- 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or assembly environment preferably with electric products
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings specifications and technical documents
- Proficient in using precision measurement tools (calipers micrometers) and electrical testing instruments
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with projection and quality teams
- Basic understanding of quality control methodologies such as inspection criteria defect dispositions root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Knowledge in calibration and equipment maintenance
- ASQ certification and experience with Lean manufacturing and basic statistical analysis a plus but not required
