Job Summary
Are you a versatile LKS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching across Years 3 and 4 and shaping high-quality Key Stage 2 practice A forward-thinking primary school in Oxford is recruiting a confident LKS2 Teacher to join a collaborative team from January 2026.
The successful LKS2 Teacher will teach mixed-ability groups across lower KS2 plan sequenced curriculum units that build cumulative knowledge and run targeted interventions where assessment identifies gaps. This LKS2 Teacher will contribute to phase leadership support moderation and help to deliver CPD for colleagues in Oxford. An induction programme will run prior to January 2026 enabling the LKS2 Teacher to be fully prepared for the spring term beginning January 2026.
Role responsibilities
- Plan and deliver ambitious LKS2 lessons across Years 3 and 4 that develop knowledge and application.
- Use assessment data to identify needs and design high-impact small-group teaching.
- Collaborate with year-group colleagues to ensure coherent progression across LKS2.
- Provide mentoring to support staff and contribute to in-school CPD in Oxford.
- Lead transition work between Year 2 and upper KS2 to secure continuity in learning.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with clear experience in lower Key Stage 2 and strong classroom outcomes.
- Secure curriculum knowledge adaptable classroom practice and excellent organisation.
- Confident in assessment intervention planning and in working with colleagues across Oxford.
- Ready to commence January 2026 and to participate in induction and planning before January 2026.
