Job Summary
We are one of the leading tech-driven media and entertainment companies producing uplifting content in 17 languages for people of all ages. Known for award-winning art and pop culture magazine and TOP DIY channel Crafty Panda we fight the worlds boredom at an unprecedented speed: 160 million site views per month and 62 billion video views per year. Our team comprises over 400 creative individuals who work from 42 different countries and 3 offices located in Vilnius Lithuania.
We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a talented Community Manager to join our team for the award-winning art and pop culture magazine . Every day hundreds of artists and creators upload tons of photos and artwork to our website. Unfortunately the stories they submit dont always look the way our readers want to see them. Were looking for someone who could manage these stories and help the artists become more popular.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with community members answer questions via email and moderate submissions;
- Review proofread and improve user-submitted stories;
- Fix grammar structure clarity and flow in community posts;
- Research competitor headlines and identify viral angles when needed;
- Write strong engaging titles for different content types;
- Arrange images in the most engaging order and select the best visuals (depending on post type);
- Create eye-catching cover images for Facebook and social media;
- Categorize posts based on their potential;
- Help with A/B testing for titles and FB image variations;
- Maintain the quality of the community section by banning spam accounts and reviewing Ask Pandas Challenges and lower-priority posts;
- Search for new artists and creators to feature on Bored Panda.
Requirements:
- Excellent English writing and editing skills;
- Any background in community management photo editing or copywriting roles is a bonus;
- Strong understanding of what makes content engaging and viral;
- Good Adobe Photoshop skills (is a must);
- Writing or web content creation experience;
- Familiarity with major social media platforms such as Facebook Instagram Pinterest and Twitter etc;
- Ability to work independently follow a structured workflow and manage a fast-paced content pipeline.;
- Able to work Lithuanian business hours.
