Job Summary
Game Lodge is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to help the Manager oversee all lodge maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills a hands-on approach and the ability to work in a small team of maintenance staff to ensure the lodge and guest facilities are safe functional and of the highest standard.
Maintenance Operations
- Assist with all aspects of electrical plumbing HVAC and general building maintenance.
- Ensure all systems (water power irrigation sewage etc.) are fully operational at all times.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Assign daily tasks monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of maintenance tools materials and spare parts.
- Ensure all guest areas lodges and facilities are maintained to the highest standard at all times.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and all departments to minimize disruptions to guest experiences
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in facilities or maintenance management preferably in lodges hotels or resorts.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and general mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health safety and environmental compliance standards.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to work in a remote lodge environment
