Performance Specialist

Remitee a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments is seeking a Performance Specialist for our Payments Operations team.

Remitee is seeking a Performance Specialist to drive analytical excellence and insight generation across our entire Payments Operations ecosystem. This role is highly strategic and requires a strong ability to connect data identify root causes uncover patterns and transform complex information into clear actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and partner performance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking an end-to-end understanding of operational processes and the ability to propose data-driven improvements that directly impact customer experience partner relationships and the scalability of our service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic analysis of the payments operation identifying trends anomalies correlations and opportunities for improvement.
• Design build and maintain performance metrics and dashboards (e.g. rejection rates processing speed SLA compliance root-cause breakdowns).
• Generate actionable insights by connecting information across multiple datasets processes and operational events.
• Produce executive reports and data visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify root causes of inefficiencies or operational issues and recommend evidence-based process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations Product Tech Compliance Commercial) to validate insights and drive performance initiatives.
• Present key findings and performance results to internal leadership and when needed to external partners or clients.
• Ensure quality consistency and governance of all data used for analysis.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience as a Performance Specialist Data Analyst or Operations Analyst ideally within fintech payments or other data-driven environments.
• Degree in Engineering Economics Business Administration Mathematics Statistics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL advanced Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI Looker Tableau or similar).
• Proven ability to connect information build hypotheses identify patterns and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver insights clearly through presentations and written reports.
• Autonomous critical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
