Job Description:
  • As a Project Coordinator with the clients Global Operations Employee Experience (GOEX) team you will help shape the learning experience for leaders across WW Operations.
  • You will work with an international team to support translations for GOEX Localization Services customers.
Key job responsibilities
  • Create and maintain project plans for all aspects of the translation workflow.
  • Create projects and perform other administrative tasks in clients translation management system.
  • Provide first-level support and manage expectations with translation customers vendors and partners.
  • Organize files and manage pre-translation file preparation.
  • Facilitate reviews and ensure feedback is properly saved to translation memories.
  • Identify and support improvements to processes or tools where needed.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture that focuses on doing great work while learning and growing.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in communications business linguistics or equivalent
  • Experience working with global teams or customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organization and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with translation management systems
  • Experience with learning design and development teams
  • Experience with machine translation with post-editing (MTPE) projects
Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects:
Business Group:
  • Translation for all types of materials (mainly learning material can be for signage onboarding programs etc)
  • Support 46 different teams across PXT ops
  • More efficiently and team has the expertise and knowledge to assist
  • Project coordinator hopping into established process and making sure it is running on time.
Key Projects:
  • Project coordinator in a translation team
Typical Day in the Role:
Day to Day:
  • When a request comes in ensure details are clear routing to correct person to prep files routing to linguists and managing dates/assigning/keeping track of process
  • 50% calls/50% individual work
  • Status call with team in the AM
  • Call with internal team that developer has what they need
  • Updating dates building project plans answering emails to communicate status
Interaction level with team:
  • Team with HM meets once a week
  • Communicating daily
  • Status calls with vendors/customers
  • Candidate Requirements:

YOE:
  • Translation management systems would stand out (not necessary)
  • 2-3 YOE with global teams or customers
  • 2-3 YOE with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-3 Organization and time management skills

  • Experience with translation management systems
  • Experience with learning design and development teams
  • Experience with machine translation with post-editing (MTPE) projects
Degrees/Cert Required:
  • Bachelors degree in communications business linguistics or equivalent
