Role Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of the manufacturing warehouse facility in Ottawa including inventory shipping/receiving tools quality control and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach to material handling facility maintenance and ensuring compliance with Modern Niagaras policies and procedures.

Key Impact / Purpose
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment aligned with Modern Niagara standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate material handling inventory control and deliveries.
- Foster collaboration between warehouse field and office teams to support project success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Assist with material handling receiving and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment for safety and organization.
- Oversee inventory to ensure availability of required items.
- Manage warehouse staff and coordinate workflow with mechanical purchasing agents.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight with shipper/receiver.
- Maintain communication between field and office staff regarding warehouse operations.
- Conduct job site visits prior to project demobilization to assist foremen with clean-up.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Must-haves:
- Previous management experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to implement inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage staff.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred).
- Valid drivers license.
- Valid forklift and telehandler license with experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
- Attention to detail and ability to resolve problems under pressure.
Nice-to-haves:
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience with inventory tracking system implementation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
This is anew annual compensation; $67000 - $80000
