Job Summary
Job Description:
You will have a close relationship with our L1 technicians who provide 24x7 365 days a year support. This role will require the availability to work rotating shifts between 7am and 11pm as part of this support. Australian citizenship is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively monitor and analyze network performance and health
Ensure data integrity across systems and platforms
Serve as technical lead during Severity 1 and 2 incidents
Participate in Change and Emergency Work Order (EWO) review boards
Implement approved network changes and enhancements
Drive problem management and root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives
Execute IMAC (Install Move Add Change) activities
Investigate diagnose and validate escalated incidents
What Were Looking For
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field
35 years of experience in networking or network operations
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in a multi-vendor environment
Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
CCNA certification required; CCNP or CIPE certification is a plus
Technical Proficiency
Cisco networking devices
Working knowledge of Palto Alto Meraki and similar.
HPN devices (H3C ProCurve 3Com Aruba) optional
F5 technologies
Riverbed SteelHead appliances
Experience with Checkpoint and BlueCoat is an added advantage
