On-time delivery of equipment is a crucial customer satisfaction element of a Gas Power Plant this role you will serve as the leader responsible for developing risk mitigation programs around the fast-growing MSD segment ensuring capacity expansion plans are realized. Additionally assessing future loading profiles across the globe at our suppliers to detect capacity issues identify trends etc that should be surfaced along with interfacing with GCLs SFLs and Engineering to take action to mitigate risk well in advance of a bleed through event to our customers is a key responsibility.

Job Description

  • Primarily responsible for ensuring MSD supply base is ready to execute the volume ramp over Long Range Forecast period by working w/ key Suppliers GCLs SFLs Engineering etc to ensure capacity improvements and risk mitigation activities take hold and lead to OTD
  • Work with GCLs SFLs to forward look 6-24 months out at fulfillment risks in capacity strained areas. Drive capacity expansion plans developed by GCLs SFLs to ensure capacity deals come alive and true supplier capacity aligns with our needs.
  • Work w/ global teams to develop Line of Balance measurements in right situations to detect weekly/monthly supplier fulfillment performance issues
  • Act as the primary blind spot person to show where more attention is required to ensure supplier ramps happen effectively
  • Constantly re-assess and examine our current PO loading at Top 10-20 risk suppliers to ensure alignment w/ real capabilities
  • Works AI angles and develop AI agents in right spots to give us insight each week/month around the above
  • Partner in other areas such as Vendoc processes Hold processes to assist others in better lean process flow

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum of 10 years Sourcing Projects or Supply Chain Management experience
  • Previous Lean experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Recent experience working in the Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or projects teams
  • Bachelors Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
  • 5 years of experience for Power Generation products;
  • High motivation and influencing skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence global suppliers and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills

Additional Information

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $149400.00 and $248900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
