We are seeking an experienced hard-working collaborative certified elementary teacher to lead the annual Math Masters summer program for children entering grades 2-6. The Math Master summer program is designed to use evidence-based practice in math instruction and Applied Behavior Analysis to boost learners beginning math skills during the month of July. The program is offered to students Monday through Thursday afternoons from July 6th through July 31st. The core program begins at 1:00pm and ends at 4:30pm with the Lead Teachers hours ranging between 12:00pm to 5:30pm depending on student transportation and preparation time. The Lead Teacher will also be involved with planning assessment and training prior to the start of the program. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day procedures and collaborating with the Northeastern faculty members. They will maintain attendance records lead daily processes and communicate with caregivers. They will also aggregate graphed data and communicate with Northeastern faculty on any program changes during weekly data management Lead Teacher will lead whole group instruction model and supervise graduate instructors in implementation of small group instruction and organize and facilitate activities. Each day math instruction will include fluency-based instruction Direct Instruction utilizing the Corrective Math and Solving Math Word Problems curricula and generalized application activities.
