Hiring: Senior Software Engineer Quality Assurance Malaysia (Client Location) New Era Technology

About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Senior Software Engineer Quality Assurance to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their PJ office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain UI (Web Mobile App) API automation suites and test cases.
• Work with product managers software engineers data analysts and product designers to create test plans and test their impact to business metrics.
• Actively participating in product scoping and design review.
• Be part of on-call for your teams products and services and assists in post-mortems for any incidents.
• Track and report QA metrics and collaborate with engineers to improve the projects Health

Qualification & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in testing in a medium or large scale agile software development environment for Cloud SaaS or Web applications or experience testing native iOS and Android applications.
• Experience with designing planning and implementing test scenarios and leading software QA processes.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of web services its common HTTP methods and JSON formats
• Experience with Jira or relevant project tracking tools
• Excellent team player goal oriented good communication and negotiation Skills.
• Keen eye to detail and have solid initiative to raise alarms when necessary.
• Proficient with at least one language commonly used for web or full stack development (Javascript Typescript Python etc.) and understanding of web Technologies.
• Hands-on mobile development experience in either Java / Kotlin or Objective-C / Swift.
