Registered Service Manager Childrens Services (Maternity Cover)

Location: Walsall
Salary:per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (to meet the needs of the service)
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: Children with learning disabilities
Qualifications Required:

• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (or equivalent / willingness to achieve)
  Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years experience managing an Ofsted-registered childrens home

• Experience supervising and managing staff in a care role

• Knowledge of legislation including Childrens Regulations The Quality Standards Every Child Matters
  Employment Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover Nov 2025 Dec 2026)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager who can lead all aspects of the home ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are met.

You will:
Oversee day-to-day running of the home efficiently
Ensure safe high-quality child-centred care
Lead and support the staff team
Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements and inspections
Drive positive outcomes for children

A Full UK Driving Licence and own transport would be advantageous.
