Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks ships and surface cabin equipment.
- Weld paint and refurbish equipment as needed.
- Conduct mechanical inspections and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.
- Assist in reworking repairing testing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Preferred Certifications (not mandatory)
- A/C Certification
- Electrical Maintenance
- Stationary Engineer
Technical Skills
- Basic electrical experience with 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams assembly prints and parts lists.
- Familiarity with formal maintenance procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in using multimeters megohmmeters hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.
- Basic computer skills.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma OR minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: airline military oilfield automotive or electronics.
