Data Entry Clerk

As part of our ambitious growth journey we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Nyansiongo Nyamira County.
Key duties and responsibilities
a) Collect compile and verify financial and operational data for accuracy before entry into the system.
b) Input data into relevant financial and operational systems promptly and accurately.
c) Maintain organized and up-to-date records for accounts receivable and payable transactions.
d) Generate periodic reports such as payment schedules receipts and other required documentation.
e) Assist in the reconciliation of data discrepancies and collaborate with the team to resolve errors.
f) Perform routine checks to ensure the integrity and security of data in compliance with company policies.
g) Organize and maintain physical and digital files ensuring ease of retrieval and compliance with documentation standards.
h) Respond to data-related queries from internal departments in a professional and timely manner.
i) Monitor daily transaction logs and provide updates to the relevant teams as necessary.
j) Support the warehouse team in the preparation of financial/warehouse reports and audit documentation.
k) Assist in reviewing and updating data entry protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.
l) Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in data management and financial systems.
m) Ensure strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards.
n) Attend weekly daily department meetings with other staff from the warehouse.
o) Report/record all risk issues/incidents identified during the course of daily operations in a timely manner in an incidence register and report the same to the Warehouse Supervisor and the EHS team;
p) Provide extended support to the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) team in overseeing the implementation of safety standards throughout the under the stores and warehousing function;
q) Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to the job holder by the supervisor from time to time.
