Role: Audit Senior
Location: York
Salary: 38000 to 48000
This is a strong opportunity to join a respected and growing practice in York. The firm is looking for an experienced audit professional or a part qualified auditor who is close to completing their studies and ready to step up into a senior role. You will work with a varied client portfolio take the lead on audit fieldwork and support the development of junior team members.

Responsibilities of the Audit Senior Job include:
Lead audit fieldwork on a range of clients from planning to completion
Prepare audit files working papers and draft financial statements
Support and guide junior members of the team during assignments
Identify areas of risk and ensure audit standards are maintained
Attend client meetings and provide clear updates and explanations
Work collaboratively with the wider accounts and tax teams
Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives
Requirements of the Audit Senior Job include:
UK practice experience is essential
ACA or ACCA qualified or close to qualification
Good technical knowledge of audit standards and FRS 102
Confident managing key elements of an audit assignment
Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
