Job Summary
What youll do
As a Senior Care Assistant each day brings purpose leadership and the opportunity to make life-changing differences.
You will:
Lead and support care staff to ensure consistently high-quality care delivery
Act as a role model offering guidance coaching and on-shift supervision
Support residents to remain independent within their Extra Care apartments
Provide companionship reassurance and build meaningful relationships
Assist with medication management mobility and mealtime support
Deliver personal care with dignity respect and sensitivity
Respond promptly to care calls and emergency alarms within the scheme
Support the coordination of care plans and daily task allocation
Encourage resident engagement in social activities and community life
Liaise with families healthcare professionals and the on-site management team
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
Previous experience in care
Confidence in supporting and guiding other team members
Strong communication skills and a calm reassuring approach
Reliability compassion and a commitment to excellent care
A willingness to complete further training and develop professionally
