Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Principal Specialist -Intelligence Analyst to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

What You Will Do

Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration data analysis and data reporting
Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems
Provide technical consultation to the customer on system availability and potential enhancements to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
Develop new operational procedures and techniques in a dynamic high ops-tempo work environment
Perform work in a real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process before starting day position
Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers is required
Maintain certification by providing 2 fill-in shifts per month while working day job

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
Experience supporting satellite operations
An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Ability to perform a variety of SIGINT analysis and support functions at various levels to support technical operations
Experience in ELINT signals analysis system monitoring and resource allocation utilizing many various tool suites
Experience performing research and data exploitation from various sources to prepare operational or technical reports conduct training in one or more areas of expertise and be able to perform major delivery system checkout
Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time operations environment
Knowledge of tasking collection processing exploitation analysis and dissemination processes
Experience working in direct support of customers and with direct and frequent customer interaction
Experience in technical operations either directly or in partnership with servicing offices and group

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
