Position Description:
The Molding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the molding process ensuring efficient
and safe production of high-quality molded parts. This role requires a strong understanding of molding
techniques machinery operation quality control and team management.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
Supervise and guide molding operators ensuring they follow safety procedures and operate
machinery correctly.
Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or issues
Ensure timely completion of production runs and meet production deadlines.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all molded parts meet
specifications.
Monitor quality metrics analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
Investigate and resolve quality issues implement corrective actions and prevent reoccurrence.
Ensure proper functioning of all molding machines including preventative maintenance and
troubleshooting.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel for machine repairs and upgrades.
Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct safety inspections and training sessions for operators.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Prepare and submit production reports quality reports and other relevant documentation.
Track production metrics analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree or certification in plastics manufacturing or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing environment
with supervisory experience preferred.
