• Coach and mentor team members in the analysis design test and/or integration of Instrumentation and Integration (Controls loop hardware design and documentation) in Plant and Accessories systems sub-systems and components that meet cost compliance safety and schedule requirements through a culture of planning and project management for all assigned projects. Ensure work is executed in accordance with GE Vernova design practices and quality procedures while influencing and contributing to their improvement.
• Assure that proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Provide state of the art Plant and Accessories Design Engineering services for assigned CM&U projects on Gas Plants of the actual GE Vernova fleets (H F E B and Legacy Alstom).
• Collaborate closely with Global Managers and CTH community to establish technical development plans for team members and mitigate risks on projects assigned to the team
• Share and incorporate lessons learned across the local CCP Services organization promoting an environment of continuous learning.
• Lead and execute NPI Programs in accordance with the current NPI process guidelines in close cooperation with the CCP Systems team/ Product Lines / Fleet owners. Own the quality of the technical review packages (ex: CDR PDR DDR SPR) presented to the CTH community.
• Provide efficient ITO engineering support for Conversions Modifications and Upgrades (CM&U) Complex- and Extended Scope Projects in cooperation with the ITO organization and the regional teams to create value for our customers and the business.
• Provide engineering support in partnership with Product Services Engineering and Product Safety on Engineering Requests (ER) Root Cause Analysis (RCA) safer cases and support customers to maintain availability and reliability for the GE Vernova fleet.
• Monitor and communicate project status business issues and significant developments.
• Oversee teams assigned projects monitoring progress and quality and ensuring schedule requirements are met.
• Lead the implementation of innovative analysis designs development concepts processes and system solutions.
• Recognized technical expert in Instrumentation and Integration systems.
• Responsible for teams technical proficiency and growth

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or similar.
• Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make judgments based on practice or previous experience.
• Knowledge of applicable national & international codes/Standards/directives such as IEC NEC CSA IECEx ATEX etc.
• Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Extensive experience with CM&U processes tools and technologies
• Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership and external customers.

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements the base pay range for this position is$111200-$185400 USD Annually.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
