Mechanical Engineering Intern
Job Description
The job duties for these positions are associated witha wide range of product development applications for current and new products which include:
- Concept and develop of mechanical components and systems that may include multiple plastic processes castings stamped or laser cut parts and welding or bonding
- Use 3-D Modeling software to create and assemble components
- Creation and support of 2-D drawings and specification documentation
- Attend product design review meetings.
- Support of prototype fabrication and/or construction
- CreateBill of Materials information and other documentation for product release
Requirements
- Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in BSME or AG Engineering program at accredited College or University
- Ability to work on numerous tasks concurrently
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
Desired Attributes
- Experience in 3-D Modeling Software; SolidWorks Inventor or Creo
- Previous design development and fabrication or manufacturing experience
- Exposure to off-road farming or other mobile equipment
Compensation for this job will be based on the candidates skills and experience level. Between $26 and $28 per hour.
