Job Description
Plating Operative
Salary: 15.24 per hour 10% shift allowance (once trained)
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 37 hours MondayFriday (move to 2-shift rotation once trained)
Contract: Permanent
Were supporting an engineering manufacturer in Glasgow that is expanding their plating and finishing team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn chemical plating processes with full training provided.

Plating Operative Duties
Operate chemical plating lines across multiple coatings
Monitor production tanks and adjust chemical levels
Carry out X-ray testing for coating thickness
Complete job cards and maintain accurate documentation
Work safely and maintain high-quality standards
What Youll Need
Good dexterity and strong attention to detail
Health & safety awareness
Positive attitude with good time management
Plating experience helpful but not essential
